About Frowen Fields
Frowen Fields spreads across 20 peaceful acres of Carmarthenshire farmland, about 10 minutes from Whitland and the A40. This is genuinely remote camping – composting toilets, hot showers, firepits and stargazing under some of the darkest skies in Wales – yet with a warm welcome from hands-on hosts who've created something special. Visitors rave about the alpaca walks and goat cuddles, while kids can hunt for fairy houses through the woodlands or help feed the pigs, sheep, ducks and quails.
Pitches are spacious and wild in feel, and there's also a Humble Dome for those after a touch more comfort. The games room and communal fridge add convenience without spoiling the off-grid atmosphere. Views stretch toward the Preseli Hills, and you're well placed for Pembrokeshire beaches and coastal walks. It's the sort of place that rewards slowing down – though with no dogs allowed, pet owners will need to look elsewhere.

What visitors say
We stayed in Dandy Do ! What a time we had :) What an amazing facility. Dandy is big enough and warm enough to comfortably sleep 3 adults. The weather put pay to our planned bbq but we cooked under the grill in the trailer tent. Again it was so simple to operate. The additional awning doubles the size of the trailer tent and we were able to shelter in here to eat our food in. Being surrounded by nature - this site is so quiet. The views of the blue mountains which can be seen from the pitch are out of this World. Helen welcomed us to the pitch and was on hand if we needed anything but wasn’t in our faces either. The additional facilities like hot showers; a sink to do washing up and composting toilets all allow you to camp with everything on hand. The pitch is a perfect size. And the composting toilet is your own and you don’t have to share with anyone ! A perfect pitch under the stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The welcome we had Frowen Fields was outstanding. Helen and Ash are Super Hosts. The pitch was spacious and very private, which allowed for a peaceful camping trip. The pitches come with the convenience of a picnic table, firepit and own eco loo as well as a solar charging unit to charge phone. The facilities were outstanding on site and clean. The kids loved running around and having freedom as well as meeting all the animals including goats and alpacas. Everything seems to be 20 mins away by car, but it was worth it for the stargazing and peace and quiet. We will be back.

Had a really nice stay, quiet and plenty of space to each pitch. We wanted a site with very limited facilities, this site offered that but did have other sites with more facilities. Met the owner who was really friendly and the messages on booking in were very welcoming. A lot of effort has been made to keep children entertained and the animals are a nice touch especially the escaping baby goats. There also a little honesty shop if you need firewood or soap, candles craft things, all sorts really. Each pitch had its own composting toilet. It would be great if more rubish bins were provided. Overall it was what we were looking for and will be coming back.

My partner and I had such an amazing time at Frowen Fields! It was such a peaceful environment and we loved how the pitches were spaced out so everyone had their own little section and having your own toilet on your pitch was such a huge bonus! But the main star of the show were all the animals, I particularly loved the goats and the family dog biscuit. We loved the farm tour, getting to feed the animals and our stay on the campsite in general. We also found it to be a great base to explore from, which we did a lot of during our stay. We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks so much to Helen & Ash for an unforgettable time.
