Dôl Werdd Lodge works well for couples after a quiet break or families wanting a rural base without fuss. The entire ground-floor cabin is yours alone, with two bedrooms (one double, one three-quarter double) and a single bathroom. Everything you need for self-catering is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher, while the open-plan living and dining space centres on a wood burner. A wood burner that runs on included fuel, plus electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—the essentials are sorted.
Decking wraps around the property, with garden furniture and an enclosed front garden. Parking on site takes two cars. The cabin sits near Gelliwerdd and the town of Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, with rolling countryside to explore. No smoking indoors. A welcome pack arrives with you.

We had a wonderful few days at Ben and Michaela's lodge. Everything is absolutely spotless, very modern and well equipped and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. There is a log burner fitted which we did not use but would make it very cosy in the colder months. The views are fabulous and it is incredibly peaceful and there is also plenty to do within the area. It is only a short drive to the city of Swansea and there are many lovely beaches within an hour's drive. We took our dog and found many varied walks, some starting just outside the lodge with plenty of blackberries to pick en route. We would highly recommend a stay at Dôl Werdd.

We had a wonderful holiday stay over the Christmas and New Year 2025 in a beautiful lodge. The cleanliness of the cabin surprised us, as we had packed a bag of cleaning supplies for the fridge, floors, bathroom, etc., having learned from our experiences in luxury lodges and apartments that we often need to clean them ourselves. Here everything was polished and spotless. We noticed that everything in the cabin was new! the owners had thought of every detail. Thank you for a fantastic stay! Additionally, the views were stunning, and there were plenty of places to walk with our dog, which is very important to us.

Awesome and cozy cottage, with lovely hosts that really cared and made sure that all our needs and even more were covered! We highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! We definitely will do so again. Thank you both very much :)
