Ground floor spaces flow into each other around a central living area with a woodburner and tall windows facing the gardens. The kitchen connects directly to the dining and sun rooms, making it easy to cook while others socialise. One double bedroom with ensuite shower is also on this level. Upstairs, three further bedrooms include a galleried double and a kingsize, served by a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The heating comes via the electric Aga, and firewood for the stove is supplied. Essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included.

The real draw is the private heated pool: nine metres long and filtered organically, it maintains 34 degrees year-round. You also have secure parking for four cars on site and an electric vehicle charging point. The house suits families or groups wanting space and privacy, with the gardens and pool as natural gathering points. Smoking is not permitted inside.
