Morlogws Farm Holiday Cottages - The Orchard

Carmarthenshire

Families and larger groups will find The Orchard works well for a week away that doesn't require leaving the property. This detached cottage sits within the orchard at Morlogws Farm, a working dairy farm deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. You get the whole place to yourselves, with three bedrooms (one double with an ensuite, one double, one with bunk beds for children) and two bathrooms spread across a single storey. The open-plan living and dining area means everyone can gather together, and there's a kitchen with a gas cooker for proper cooking.

On-site amenities are the real draw here. A shared heated indoor swimming pool (eight metres by three, varying depth from one to 1.8 metres) stays open except November to January. A hot tub for six sits alongside it. A games room with table tennis, pool table and air hockey is shared with other properties on site, as is gym equipment. Your own lawned garden has a BBQ. Parking is available for two cars. Essentials including bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are covered. There is an unfenced pond in the grounds about ten yards from the cottage, and the property draws water from a borehole rather than mains supply. Non-smoking only.

Just returned from a week at morlogws farm. A super family holiday . Cottage very clean and everything you need is there All mid cons like an air fryer all settees are recliners . Comfortable beds Lots to do in the area with children . Very peaceful location . The swimming pool is warm and hot tub very relaxing . We used the pool at least twice a day children loved it . Weather was very good too although it was the hottest week this year the cottage living room was cool surprisingly. . Highly recommend

Amazon break! We stayed in the Farm for 3 nights in the logs cabin. The place is in the middle of nowhere but google map’s location is accurate and you will get step by step directions from Nicola and Aled. On the arrival we were welcomed by the hosts and showed around. Log cabin is spacious and has everything you may think about (microwave, kettle, hob and oven, fridge with freezer, even an air fryer!). Smart TV and fast internet, puzzles, games, books – weather does not matter! The pool and hot tub are great – open 24/7. Nicola can give you a tour around the farm to see the cows. Great experience for everyone. Closest shop is few min drive away so ensure that you bring everything you need with you! Definitely a place to come back!

Absolutely 100% recommend! From the start we had a brilliant week. The Welcome from the hosts Nicola and Aled and all the workers on the farm, introducing us to all the dairy cows, my little ones were so excited. Fresh milk daily. The pool and hot tub are always clean and warm. Washing facilities great and could use whenever. We stayed in The Log Cabin and were super cosy all week - even looking at going back next year. Local facilities easily accessible by car - easy to find.

We’ve just had a lovely weeks stay, the weather wasn’t on our side but we managed to keep ourselves busy for a full week in the local area and a little further a field, the swimming pool / hot tub and games room were a dream and we made use of them every day. Absolutely stunning rural location, well equipped lodge with everything we needed but the best part of this little hidden gem has to be owners, a lovely warm Welsh welcome, nothing is too much trouble and any issues such as bulb not working is promptly addressed. Thank you for having us.
