Y Beudy is a ground-floor cottage on the grounds of Mwdlwscwm Farm, a non-working estate in Carmarthenshire. The single bedroom sleeps two in a double bed. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Living space combines a sitting area with a kitchen and dining corner, all in one open plan.

The sitting room has a TV, Freesat and a DVD player; heating comes from an electric woodburner. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, microwave, air fryer, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Essentials like bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. One well-behaved pet stays free. You have an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, plus private parking on site; the wider grounds—5½ acres of landscaped land shared with one other property—contain a river and pond about 30 yards away.

The location suits visitors wanting to explore South Wales without rushing. Llanelli beach is 4 miles away. The Gower Peninsula, Swansea and Pembrokeshire's coast are within reach for day trips. Historic villages and castles dot Carmarthenshire, and the Brecon Beacons are accessible for walking. A car is essential to get anywhere. The owner lives on site. No smoking inside.

Outside of the cottage and surroundings beautiful but the inside of the cottage is looking tired.

Beautiful, quiet location. We came here Mon-Fri at the end of April. We stayed in Ystable cottage. It's small yet roomy insite. Our host has though of everything we could need to stay here including milk in the fridge. Dogs are also welcome here, and treets were on hand for them also. What a nice touch. There is a nice garden area at the front of the property that's sheltered from the wind and really catches the sunshine. There are numerous things to do in this area just a short travel away. We visited several empty sandy beaches. A ruined castle. Country parks, lakes. The properties are very well looked after and spotlessly clean. Our host was friendly and approachable too. I would definitely recommend someone staying here and will certainly return here again myself.
