Cothi Cottage is a stone-built semi-detached property sleeping six, positioned within a courtyard of similar traditional cottages on the grounds of the owner's house near Llanfyndd and Pontargothi. The landscape here is walking country—the River Cothi runs a short distance away, known for trout and salmon fishing, and the historic market town of Llandeilo sits 15 minutes' drive south. The cottage comes with private parking for two cars and a lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue.
Inside, the ground floor is largely open plan, with living and dining areas flowing together and a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Three bedrooms are spread across the property: two doubles and one kingsize. There is one bathroom with shower cubicle, and a separate toilet in the ensuite to bedroom one. A woodburner in the living room runs on included logs, and oil central heating keeps the cottage warm. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are provided.
A heated indoor pool located in Nantgaredig, 4 miles away, is available to guests at a discount (£6 per adult, £4 per child). It is open 1–7pm on weekdays and 1–5pm at weekends, and includes a steam room, spa pool and gym. The cottage does not permit smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Had a fabulous long weekend at Upton Hall Cottages to celebrate a special family occasion. We hired three of the cottages (Severn, Tawe and Gwili) as there were a lot of us and we had 5 dogs between us. All the cottages surround a small courtyard so the setup couldn't have been better. We used Severn as the main base for gathering together in the evenings as it easily accommodated us all comfortably in the open plan kitchen / dining / living room area. Five of us stayed in Severn, four in Tawe and another four in Gwilli. All the cottages are well equipped with everything you need and are very cosy and comfortable. Severn and Tawe had the benefit of hot tubs which was a lovely addition. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room a short drive away which was also very enjoyable. The area is very quiet and peaceful, with lots of nice places to visit nearby, including castles, beaches, national trust and woodland walks. Stargazing on a clear night from the hot tub is a must as the area benefits from dark skies. Muriel is a fantastic host and is on hand for anything you may need, nothing is too much trouble. The birthday card was a lovely touch and made the celebrations even more special. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely love to return again.

Lovely place to stay for a few day. Very spacious with all you need. Few roads closed due to the weather but found it ok. We had a very chilled time with our dog. Lots of walks. Will be going back.

Thank you for your hospitality — everything was perfect! The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, the location was excellent, the nature around was pristine, and the hot tub was clean and checked daily by the host. We truly enjoyed our stay; everything was great, and the host was very kind, helpful, and guided us a lot. We really appreciate everything

We have just returned from 3 nights holiday at Upton hall cottages and we are all amazed and enjoy our stay. The cottages the amenities and most of all the host. Thank you Muriel and Ian, we feel like not just a guest but a family. The best cottages we have been and definitely you will see us again. Highly recommended if your looking for the best cottage holiday.
