Yr Efail Argoed is a three-bedroom cottage in Carmarthenshire, five miles from the coast and set in open countryside. You get the whole place to yourself, with space for four people and one dog at no extra cost. Parking for two cars is on site, and an enclosed gravelled garden with furniture provides outdoor space.

The kitchen is properly set up for cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine mean you can manage a week's worth of meals and laundry. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one double and two singles—served by a single bathroom. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and oil central heating runs from October to April. A cot and highchair are available if needed.

The location suits anyone wanting a rural base within reach of Pembrokeshire's beaches and the coastal path. Llanddowror itself is quiet, surrounded by woodland and farmland; St. Clears is the nearest town for shops and supplies. No smoking indoors.

Stayed in the cottage recently. Had aa fantastic time. Owners helpful yet unobtrusive. Immaculately clean. Very comfortable furniture. The photos don't do it justice. Surprisingly generous dimensions. The main bed very comfortable, though the kids matresses could probably do with upgrading in the near future. If I was honest, I think this cottage is quite underpriced in comparison with all the other places I've stayed in over 30 years or so! Would definitely return. Thankyou!
