What visitors say
Pleasant country park tucked away on the outskirts of Melford, by the tranquil River Stour. Parking area, picnic area, kids play area and small cafe, plus handy toilets!.

Really nice area suitable for most people. I hesitate to say everyone as some areas would not be wheelchair friendly - but mostly good! Well kept with some places given over to nature. Good place to fish although one local chap said the otters have decimated the fish stock. Lovely for picnics- many tables available and spread out. Excellent for children to play (supervision needed by the river obviously). Lots of places to explore and allow imaginative play. Look out for the swans and cygnets! Toilets handy.

Lovely open space and riverside walk. The dogs loved it. It was quiet but I did visit on a Monday, however there was still an ice cream van there... bonus! Very clean toilets, which look new. Everywhere was clean and tidy... good parking provision, too.

Visitors say this country park offers pleasant walks along the river and around the lake, with opportunities for bird watching. They also highlight the convenient parking, picnic areas, and clean toilets. Others mention the friendly cafe, which serves great coffee and hot chocolate.
