Awel Y Mor - Flat 3 is a first-floor apartment with direct views across the Ceredigion coastline. The open-plan living space contains a sofa bed and a dining area; the separate bedroom has a double bed; and there is a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooking, dishwasher, and a tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property is non-smoking.
The flat sits within a mile of the sea, near the Commodore Cinema, and the university town of Aberystwyth spreads around it with restaurants, cafés and independent shops. A shared garden at the rear provides outdoor seating. The town itself has a castle, harbour and arts centre; inland are hiking routes through the surrounding hills, which hold an Iron Age fort and views towards Cardigan Bay. The Vale of Rheidol steam train departs from the town, running through woodland to Devil's Bridge.
Golden beaches and small seaside villages lie close by. Ynyslas Nature Reserve, a few miles north, is notable for its dune landscape and rare plants and birds. Bwlch Nant-yr-Arian Forest Centre, also nearby, offers woodland walks, cycle trails and a red kite feeding station.

The apartment itself is great, plenty of room,.lovely large rooms and comfy bed. Snack box, cereal provided. Unfortunately when we visited our view onto the sea was ruined by building works in the area and the outside of the building needs renovating.

Lovely location (quite a lot of stairs though so be aware if your mobility is a bit limited). Comfortable and well supplied with a very generous welcome basket. Helpful owners. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for three nights this past weekend. Apartment was very well situated and easy to find. Amenities were fantastic and had everything I needed. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Definitely recommend as a great place to stay whilst in Aberystwyth.

Considering it was lockdown situation in September 2020 we had a great stay. As always apartment was clean-comfy-cosy.Everything there we needed. Even the sun came out regular for us and most of my pics were the best I have taken in a couple of years. It was quieter but all the staff in shops/pubs/food places were just as welcoming and friendly as any other year
