Ceredigion

Aberystwyth spreads along a crescent of beach backed by Victorian terraces, with the pier at its centre and hills rising behind the town. Awel Y Mor is a fourth-floor flat here, positioned to catch those views across the bay. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: the main bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize (or twin beds on request) and its own shower room, while the other two are doubles. A second bathroom serves the rest of the property.

The flat is arranged as an open-plan living space, which includes a lounge with smart TV and Netflix access, a dining area, and a kitchen fitted out for proper cooking—there's a full-size electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels, heating and wifi are all provided. No smoking throughout. Shared garden access lies to the rear, and the beach and promenade are within easy reach on foot.

The Commodore Cinema sits nearby among the shops and restaurants. The castle ruins overlook the town, steam trains run up the Vale of Rheidol, and the National Library of Wales stands here with its visitor centre. Inland, the hills hold Iron Age fort remains and views as far as the estuary at Aberdyfi. The surrounding coast holds nature reserves and smaller seaside villages within a short drive.

The apartment itself is great, plenty of room,.lovely large rooms and comfy bed. Snack box, cereal provided. Unfortunately when we visited our view onto the sea was ruined by building works in the area and the outside of the building needs renovating.

Lovely location (quite a lot of stairs though so be aware if your mobility is a bit limited). Comfortable and well supplied with a very generous welcome basket. Helpful owners. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for three nights this past weekend. Apartment was very well situated and easy to find. Amenities were fantastic and had everything I needed. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Definitely recommend as a great place to stay whilst in Aberystwyth.

Considering it was lockdown situation in September 2020 we had a great stay. As always apartment was clean-comfy-cosy.Everything there we needed. Even the sun came out regular for us and most of my pics were the best I have taken in a couple of years. It was quieter but all the staff in shops/pubs/food places were just as welcoming and friendly as any other year
