Castle Cottage

Cardigan has become known for water sports—paddleboarding, kayaking, coasteering—and the beaches nearby are the main draw for most visitors. The town itself centres on the riverside, where cafés and restaurants line the water, including a pizza tipi and Yr Hen Printworks. Cardigan Castle stands just across from the property; it hosted the first National Eisteddfod in 1176, and from the dining area you can see its east wing. The enclosed decked terrace overlooks the castle's kitchen garden.

Castle Cottage has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping six guests and one dog. The ground floor holds a living room and one bedroom with ensuite. Upstairs, the kitchen and dining room open onto the terrace via bi-fold doors; a second bedroom with ensuite (bath and shower) and a separate toilet are on this level. The top floor has two single beds in the third bedroom, with ensuite shower. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels come as standard. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

The cottage is no-smoking and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. There is parking at the public car park with unloading at the door.
