Cynefin Cottage

New Quay sits at the heart of Cardigan Bay's heritage coastline, where golden sand meets working harbour and the water often brings bottlenose dolphins and grey seals. Cynefin Cottage stands above the cove, a detached property built entirely on one level with patio doors that open onto your own garden and across the bay beyond.

Inside, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas with a 32-inch smart TV. The galley kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double bed (4ft 6in) and two singles (3ft each). There is one shower room with a walk-in shower. The grounds include 3 acres shared with other properties on the estate, along with a private patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Parking is available for two cars on site, and wifi is included; electricity and heating are covered in your rent. Bed linen and towels are provided. The property is non-smoking, and a travel cot and highchair can be arranged if needed. Note that there is an unfenced pond in the grounds, ten yards from the cottage.

New Quay's shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance, and the dramatic beaches of Mwnt, Aberporth and Aberaeron are short drives away. The town's boat trips operate from the harbour when conditions allow.
