New Quay's fishing harbour and seafront cafés sit within a ten-minute walk downhill from Ty Cregyn, a semi-detached cottage on the edge of Ceredigion's cliff tops. The property overlooks Cardigan Bay and sits on four acres of natural grounds with woodland. A single bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, plus a living room with woodburner and a well-equipped kitchen, occupy the modest interior. Outside, you have your own patio and a bike store; parking for one car is on site.
The essentials are covered: electricity, wi-fi, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the wood burner. One dog or cat stays free. The grounds are shared with the owner and other guests, and include garden furniture; a sauna is available for weekly hire (open Easter to October). Note that there are sloping banks and an unfenced pond fifty yards away. The cottage suits couples seeking a quiet base for exploring the Cardigan Bay coastline on foot or by bike. Aberaeron and Aberystwyth are within easy reach if you want a day out elsewhere.

Great place to stay close to New Quay but quiet. Lovely cottages set in well kept communal gardens. A very friendly welcome, beautiful swimming pool, and fabulous views over New Quay harbour. Great to walk out into the countryside or down into town direct from the site. New Quay has lots to do and see, in particular beaches, dolphin watching, watersports, places to eat, and lots of different places to visit around.
