Cadno is a two-bedroom lodge on a working farm in rural Ceredigion, sleeping four guests in a self-contained property. Everything is on the ground floor: a spacious open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove and French doors onto the garden, a kitchen with electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and full-size fridge, and a shower room with walk-in cubicle. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom contains two single beds that zip together. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; the lodge is heated by LPG underfloor heating throughout.
The lodge sits on a private lane within a wooded valley, with a lawned garden, furnished terrace, and a hot tub for four people. There is parking for two cars on site. The setting is genuinely quiet—a brook runs along the boundary and the small wildlife pond occasionally attracts foxes, which is what Cadno means in Welsh. The nearest villages are Cwrtnewydd and Llanybydder; Lampeter and Llandysul, both market towns with independent shops and restaurants, are a short drive away. The coast at Cardigan Bay is roughly 30 minutes' drive. No smoking is permitted in the lodge.

Gorgeous remote location on a beautiful farm. Lots to do to decompress and feel at one with nature. The farm has friendly animals that you can make a fuss of and feed (with food provided by the owners,) a paddling stream, hot tub and pond all in peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was so clean, warm and comfortable with a fantastic shower and lovely beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the owners were lovely. You will need transport to get around. Star gazing in the hot tub was a highlight.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The lodge itself it's beautiful and comfortable with plenty of space. The Christmas decorations were an added bonus. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and we would happily visit again. Highly recommend a visit!
