Penlan Cottage comes ready for a self-catering break without compromise. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so cooking and laundry are straightforward. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The multi-fuel burner is fuelled as well, making the sitting room genuinely cosy rather than reliant on central heating alone.

The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles—sleeping four across its two floors. The bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs holds the living and dining space with a Freeview Smart TV and CD player. An enclosed garden and patio with seating and barbecue opens off the kitchen. There is a step into the sitting-out area. No smoking throughout. The property is detached, so you have it entirely to yourselves.

The hamlet location suits people wanting walking country without needing to venture far. Lampeter town centre is a short drive, home to independent shops, regular markets and a museum of Welsh quilts. The Dolaucothi Gold Mines offer underground tours and gold panning a little further on. The coast near Cardigan Bay is also accessible by car.
