Miri and Dave are such darlings! The hut is perfectly appointed for a cosy trip and the hot tub was a wonderful touch...but the bar! Wow - such a cool place to hang, play darts, chill by the fire. Such a lovely place hidden away in the Welsh countryside, I visited in January to see my brother who lives locally and very nearly got snowed in! . The snow itself was a wonderful add on to the trip and thanks to Dave, he managed to town my little car up the hill to a place I was able to take over from.

Beautiful rural location and warm, friendly hosts. Shepherd’s Hut was warm and cosy, well equipped - everything you need to make a fry up. Hot tub well maintained and set within fenced area which was amazing for our dogs. Enjoyed a homemade pizza made by Miri and cooked in the outdoor pizza oven by Dave. On site rustic pub, well stocked and dogs welcome. Huge thank you to Miri and Dave, can’t forget Goose and Sam who made friends with our dogs. Diolch yn fawr xxx

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in the shepherds hut at The Three Spaniels. The location is peaceful, you are surrounded by the gorgeous Welsh countryside. Upon arrival Miri and Dave (along with their lovely dogs Goose & Sam) met us with a warm welcome and throughout our stay they were friendly and helpful. The shepherds hut is very much "back to basics" but there is everything you need for a few days away. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and playing games from the side table. The cosy onsite pub is such a lovely touch, we had a few drinks and played some darts in there. The Three Spaniels is well worth a visit!! Thank you Miri & Dave ☺️

What a lovely few days we’ve just had in the shepherds hut at The Three Spaniels. Heavy snowfall turned already stunning views into a winter wonderland!! Our Springador Arch really enjoyed playing in the snow in a safe fenced paddock. Our first evening was spent in Dave and Miri’s homegrown bar with a lovely fire going and a great range of drinks available . The shepherds hut is well equipped, warm and cosy. We felt so relaxed and at home. Nothing was too much trouble. This truly has been such a peaceful, happy break, away from the normal hustle and bustle. An oasis of calm with fabulous hosts. What’s not to love?! We will be back 😍
