The Old Cowsheds 5 began life as farm buildings and now work as a two-bedroom holiday cottage in a quiet hamlet near Llanilar, in the heart of Ceredigion. Everything happens on the ground floor: a sitting and dining space with a smart TV opens onto the garden, there's a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles—share a shower room with a heated towel rail. An enclosed back garden has sitting-out space, furniture and a gas barbecue; beyond that, the property sits within shared grounds that reach down to an unfenced river, where guests have direct access.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. Parking for two cars sits on site. One dog can stay free of charge. The surrounding landscape offers 8 acres of grounds to explore, with the river running through them. Aberaeron, a coastal town, lies 15 minutes away; Lampeter is closer and has independent shops—a butcher, baker, greengrocer, health shop with a vegan café, and several coffee houses serving local roasts and cakes. Inland walks through the countryside begin from the doorstep.
