The Powys Lodge

The Powys Lodge comes ready for immediate use. Everything essential is provided: bed linen, towels, wifi, heating and electricity all included. A welcome pack arrives with you. The kitchen is properly fitted for cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine—so you can prepare meals rather than rely on takeaways. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms with showers and heated towel rails. One bedroom has a double bed; the other has two singles. All rooms are ground-floor.

The layout centres on an open-plan living space with a smart TV, and patio doors open from both the living area and one bedroom onto a decked garden. This garden space, equipped with furniture and a barbecue, overlooks a stream and woodland. There is private parking for two cars. One dog stays free. The site has a shared launderette and children's play area, and you get the whole property to yourself.

New Quay is nearby, a small seaside resort with a harbour, cafés, restaurants and a beach. The lodge sits within Woodlands Lodge Retreat, a resort in Ceredigion's wooded valleys close to Cardigan Bay. Non-smoking throughout.
