About Llain Terfyn
Tucked into the Pembrokeshire countryside near Glandwr, Llain Terfyn is a quiet, dog-friendly campsite with grassy pitches and the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park less than a mile away. It's a simple, peaceful spot—campfires and barbecues are allowed, so evenings can be spent unwinding around the flames after a day exploring hillforts, prehistoric sites or the Preseli Hills, about 35 minutes' drive inland.
For water-based adventure, Llys-y-fran Reservoir (25 minutes) offers watersports, fishing and lakeside walks. The local village, three miles away and reachable by bus, has shops, a butcher's, a pub and a leisure centre with an indoor pool—handy for families. The site itself is small and low-key, with non-electric pitches only, so it's best suited to those after a back-to-basics escape rather than on-site entertainment. Clunderwen station is 15 minutes' drive for onward travel, and Fishguard's Irish ferries are within reach.

What visitors say
What a day! We had an absolute blast at Llain Activity Centre — starting with kayaking and paddle boarding, which were so much fun in a great location. But the real standout was coasteering. I’d never tried it before and honestly didn’t know what to expect, but Rhyd, Ryan, Gethin, and Dave were incredible. They made the whole experience exciting, safe, and just the right amount of challenging. Their energy and knowledge made a huge difference — you could tell they love what they do. If you're looking for an adventure, some laughs, and a team that truly knows how to make your day memorable, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely loved visiting here. Spent 4 nights there with 3 days of activities. Gethin and his team were absolutely brilliant and so accommodating, even with my son in a boot with a broken leg. Highly recommend for a few days away for some fun filled activities
