Trecift

Ceredigion

View on Google Maps

Families and larger groups will find Trecift works well for a week away together. This former farmhouse, completely rebuilt over recent years, stands on a hillside less than a mile from Cardigan with uninterrupted views across the Tivy Valley towards the Preseli mountains. Five bedrooms spread across two floors sleep up to ten, with beds that can be configured as either zip-and-link doubles or singles to suit different group compositions. Three bathrooms mean less of a queue in the mornings: one ground-floor shower room and two upstairs, one of which is an ensuite with walk-in shower.

The ground floor opens onto a living space that works for groups—two reception rooms, both with woodburners and Smart TVs, plus a spacious kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher and wine cooler that has room for everyone to gather. A utility room handles washing and drying. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A private acre of lawned garden has a hot tub for six, patio furniture and a barbecue; there is also parking for five cars. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath is close by, opening onto beaches, coastal villages like Aberaeron with its brightly painted houses, and the National Trust beach at Mwnt. No smoking throughout.
