Troedyrhiw Isaf
Ceredigion
The Cambrian Mountains wrap around this part of Ceredigion, making it natural territory for walkers and cyclists. Tregaron itself is a small Welsh-speaking market town within a mile of Troedyrhiw Isaf, with a pub and restaurant a two-minute walk away. The landscape stretches north to Pumlumon and south towards Aberystwyth, which sits on the coast with the National Library of Wales, a seafront promenade and a cliff railway among its draws. The narrow-gauge railway from there heads inland to Devil's Bridge and Rheidol Falls.
The cottage holds four people across two double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room. Downstairs, a sitting room centres on a woodburner, and there's a separate dining room. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A conservatory opens onto a courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. A free public car park is ten metres away, and one well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. No smoking indoors.
