Tregaron sits on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains, one of southern Britain's last genuinely remote areas. Yr Hen Beudy stands on a 50-acre farm here, converted and finished to a high standard in 2022. The setting is rural and quiet, with views across open countryside and rolling hills—ideal if you're planning to walk or cycle the scenic mountain routes, or simply want to step away from busier parts of Wales.

The barn has three bedrooms and one bathroom spread across two floors. Downstairs: a double with its own shower room, plus an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner for winter evenings and a patio door onto the garden. Upstairs: a kingsize bedroom and a room with zip-and-link twin beds (which can become a superking) sharing the main bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. There's parking for three cars and a bike store if you've brought your own.

The enclosed garden has a patio, sitting-out area and BBQ. The main feature is the private six-person hot tub. One dog is welcome to stay free. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.

The Hosts were extremely accommodating, helpful and a pleasure to chat with. The cottage is so beautiful, spotlessly clean, excellent attention to detail with fantastic views. The hot tub was delightful to sit in, watching the sunset on a winters evening. Local village was just a short walk away to a friendly pub that caters for food, we received a warm welcome along with a Spar shop. I would highly recommend a visit to Yr Hen Beudy, we can’t wait to rebook. Thank you for a fantastic weekend 😊😊
