The Cambrian Mountains rise across the horizon from Ty Mari, a 200-year-old Welsh stone cottage in Ceredigion. One dog can stay free. The cottage sits on a rough track and is accessed via three steps; it forms part of a small cluster that includes Penroc next door, which can be booked together if more space is needed.
Downstairs is a single large open-plan room with original beamed ceilings, stone fireplace and electric stove, serving as living and dining space. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, and there is a washer-dryer. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor: one with a king-size bed, two with twin singles. The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower attachment and a separate toilet. A detached garden room with heating and power offers additional space and views. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included; the landline telephone works when mobile signal does not.
The enclosed garden has a barbecue and furniture, though this is shared with other properties on site. One car can park on the drive. No smoking inside. The cottage suits families or groups of up to six, and the rough approach means it remains quiet and set apart from the road.
