Ceredigion

The Ceredigion countryside around Ystrad Meurig offers easy access to both the Cardigan Bay coast and deep into mid-Wales, with the Hafod Estate's restored woodland walks on the doorstep. The Pendre Longbarn is a restored 18th-century structure that sits within this historic landscape, now converted into a single-level property that works equally well for families and groups of friends.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms spread across the ground floor, sleeping up to six. The main living space is open plan, opening via bi-fold doors onto a decked garden area with firepit. One bedroom has a king bed and ensuite; another is a king with its own wet room; the third contains two singles. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with oven, induction hob, dishwasher and American-style fridge. Heating is oil-fired underfloor, and essentials including wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. The decked terrace looks onto a large garden with furniture and barbecue, and a wood-fired hot tub seats six privately. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Parking for two cars is available on site.
The garden has an unfenced slope, so worth knowing about if you're bringing young children. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. No smoking inside the property.

Stayed here for a relaxing girls weekend, mums weekend away from madness, haha. Absolutely stunning accommodation. Very clean, tidy, facilities were brilliant, only niggle would be that it would of been nice for a little bottle of shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. There was a welcome tray with was incredibly thoughtful. Wood log hot tub, fire pit with seating around it and chairs on the decking to look at the views on a morning with a coffee. Definitely need to come back.

Amazing holiday rental!! Perfect place to escape and get away from it all especially if you want to detox from phones etc. Fantastic walks and trail runs right from the door. It's really remote but Tesco can still deliver so no need to go out for supplies.
