I was honesy surprised that such a wonderful museum is close to our area. Definitely worth it to come and visit with children, or even by yourself 👍🏼

This museum is absolutely brilliant and contains a window into Ipswich's transport heritage. From busses and trucks, to prams, bicycles, lawn mowers and even a model railway, there is something that will interest everyone when you visit. Local busses stop nearby and there is also street parking.

A grey unremarkable hangar in Ipswich's industrial outskirts where you can't enter because you won't be able to leave until closing time, and even then you'll hardly have seen ten percent of the exposition. Could spend a week there.

Visitors say this museum features a wide variety of beautifully maintained vintage vehicles, including buses, trams, and even a miniature railway, with many exhibits offering interactive experiences. They also highlight the knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are all volunteers, and the great value for money. Others mention the excellent tea room and reasonably priced gift shop.
