Stonewood Country Lodge

Stonewood Country Lodge comes with the essentials already sorted: heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a travel cot if needed. The kitchen is properly fitted out for cooking, with a gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. The open-plan living space has a smart TV and electric fire, with a double sofa bed if you need the extra sleeping space, and patio doors open onto decking with garden furniture. Bedroom 1 is a kingsize with an ensuite toilet, while Bedroom 2 has two single beds and there's a separate shower room with a walk-in shower.

The lodge sits on ground level, accessed by four steps, on a single-storey layout that works well for families or those preferring not to manage stairs. One car can park on site. Dogs stay free and come with bowls, mats and throws; the enclosed garden gives both children and pets somewhere secure to be outside. Kelsall village is within walking distance and has several pubs serving local food and ales. Delamere Forest, with trails for walking and activities like cycling and horse riding, is at the top of Kelsall Hill. The property does not permit smoking.
