What visitors say
One of the best small campsites. Very welcoming owners who were amazing with the kids, always hands on and there if you need any help. Facilities clean, shower hot. The views were just pure countryside and the friendly resident farm animals also made our stay. Small touches such as books, colouring for the kids, leaflets for things to do, hot water for washing up and even provided a little washing up. Our 5 year old has never had so much freedom to roam with her brothers. The site was gated and locked up at night so you felt safe enough to just let the kids be. It was the small touches that made this 5 star a potential 10 star. There is alot more I could say. We will return but for longer next time.

Tucked away in the countryside, this campsite is easily one of the best I’ve stayed at. With just six pitches, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that feels worlds apart from larger, busier sites. What really sets it apart are the animals such as, friendly goats, curious ponies, alpacas, and sheep. Guests are welcome to feed them and spend time up close, which adds a unique charm you don’t often find elsewhere. (My daughter loved brushing the pony) The facilities are excellent too. The shower room is not only spotless but also surprisingly spacious, making freshening up after a day outdoors a real pleasure. From the warm welcome of the owners to the tranquil setting, everything about this site feels thoughtfully cared for. I couldn’t fault a single thing and would happily return again and again.

Lovely small site ran by Colin and Tracy who are so welcoming and friendly. Great site for the kids who loved being around the animals and were able to feed the alpacas, lambs and chickens and also let the baby goats and pony. There’s also pigs and a large pond full of fish. Toilets and shower were very clean. The place is amazing and we had a lovely time and visited the zoo and Manley Mere in the local area. My daughter loved playing with Pip the Dog who was very good with kids. Will definitely return

If you could bottle what Tracy and Colin have here you'd make millions.. But how do you bottle people? It's just a wonderful little site. Absolutely perfect for the kids to run wild.. Tracy and Colin are the most likeable people you could wish to meet.. you feel like family from the moment you arrive.. spotlessly clean facilities, lovely little shop, safe contained area for the children, wonderful animals to feed, flat pitches with plenty of space.. would not hesitate to recommend it! ⛺⛺
