About Travelodge Chester Warrington Road

Warrington Road sits on the approach to Chester close to the M53, making Travelodge Chester Warrington Road a practical stop for anyone travelling into the city or heading on towards Wales. The hotel occupies a two-floor building with free on-site parking at the front and sides, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it.

The 35 rooms are en-suite, with accessible rooms available and drinks available to order in-room. A restaurant on site serves breakfast, and there's 24 hour reception for whatever time you arrive. Pets are welcome, so it suits guests travelling with dogs as much as those passing through on business or a short break. That said, some rooms show signs of wear and can pick up noise from nearby corridors or the road, worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and ready to help, which counts for a lot on a stopover stay. A Toby Carvery sits right next door for an easy meal without moving the car, and there are further pubs and restaurants nearby. It's a straightforward base for exploring Chester itself or continuing on into Wales.

This is not easy to judge. The room was lovely and clean and not like the refurb rooms with bathroom pods like on ships so it's larger. Clean nothing wrong with the room. Staff were great. So what's the issue. No lift not the end of the world but I have knee that's not that great and a ground floor would have helped. The main issue was the main reason I booked it's close to the main road to Liverpool and Chester giving easy excess but at night it was none stop road noise and a very warm evening and battle to whether to open the window. I liked this venue and would use again in the cooler months

Amazing place! Staff were so friendly and it’s decent! Only issue was some slight mould around the bath but nothing too much Plus a huge shout out to one of the cleaners Charlie who helped us carry our stuff and even found my purse bless her. Pls praise her for this as it was sentimental to me

I stayed here during Chester races and was utterly gouged on the cost of a room for two nights. Was told I would get a family room with king size bed, but was put in a room with two single beds instead. Everything from the halls to the rooms reeked of wet dog smell. Pretty disappointing all round. It is about 3 miles drive to the centre of Chester so it is fairly accessible. No wheelchair access, only stairs into reception.
