What a fantastic day. Well done Chester council for this amazing place. My granddaughter had the most amazing time and it was completely free. We also got the ferry to the other side of the river and walked down for an ice cream. A perfect day.

Nice splash park, could do with some minor cosmetic touch ups and some of the taps weren't working. I wish there was a small pool, even if it's just knee height. There are two playground adjacent, one for young children and one for slightly older. These were a nich touch. There are toilets on site, but the girls had run out of toilet roll The parking is free for 4 hours, which is great, albeit there isn't many parking spots, so this may be something to consider. Overall, I can recommend this place to those wanting a splash park that doesn't require pre booking.

Excellent for kids and picnics. Free parking and free play area, including mini water park. Right on the Dee bank, and you can paddle, or swim in the river, although there is NO lifeguard. Dogs welcome in the wider park, but not in the fenced playground.
