Goodwood's horse and motor racing is close enough for an afternoon visit, as is Cowdray polo ground. Chichester's cathedral and cobbled streets lie a short drive away, and the beaches at Hayling Island and The Witterings are within easy reach. A bridle path runs alongside the cottage, opening onto walking and cycling country throughout the South Downs. The village itself has a shop, tea room and recreation ground within 70 yards, plus a community tennis court if you fancy a game.
Pepper Pot Cottage occupies the middle section of a Grade II listed building at the end of a quiet lane. Downstairs there's a living room with an open fire, a fully-fitted kitchen, a twin bedroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two further bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with twins—share a bathroom with shower over the bath. The essentials are covered: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with fuel for the fire. Two travel cots and high chairs are available on request.
Outside, a south-facing garden with patio and garden furniture extends to a barbecue area. There's parking for one car on site. The cottage sleeps six and is yours alone for the stay. No smoking inside. Children and one pet are welcome.
