What visitors say

I don't write reviews very often, but I felt I really had to after our visit today. We had a thoroughly brilliant time. The pool is fantastic, clean, heated and beautifully looked after. What's most impressive, though, is that the entire place is run by volunteers. It’s quite unbelievable that a community effort can deliver something of such high quality. Everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming, kind and efficient. It’s an absolute gem of a place and we'll certainly be making this another. A huge thank you to the volunteers who put so much hard work into keeping it going!

I went for the first time today. Other than the introduction, it was great! I went with a disabled friend which meant there was supposedly an “easier access” route, but it was made very difficult. Not sure if it was an off day, but it definitely could have been handled better, after difficult accessing - they kept asking her if she was in fact disabled, which was quite inappropriate. They also state to call beforehand, which was not possible - after 27 unanswered calls spread out over time, we gave up. Nevertheless, the staff did their best to be kind and were very friendly and bubbly, the lifeguards were absolutely lovely also! As for the aerobics, it was great! Super energetic, lots of laughs and singing with other people and very welcoming. My arms definitely got a good workout (as a fairly fit 25 year old!). Pool was lovely and clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend, could just use a little bit of improvement on disabled access is all!

Lovely to visit on a hot day and the water was just the right kind of cool, its sourced from spring water, seems very clean and my skin felt soft after my swim, non of those harsh chlorine chemicals or smell. We were really lucky to find a shady spot under a tree, as the parasols were all occupied. It did get very full so be prepared to share your spot and there isn't really a lot room to swim on its busy days. Friendly staff and a lovely day.

Great first experience and swim. I was a bit wary about trying, but couldn't have been more impressed. From Ian helping on the phone with extra accommodations to greeting me in person. Thanks also to Tam and Sally for helping me set up an account with patience. The pool was lovely and clean, changing rooms spotless and a lovely atmosphere. I am recovering from a slipped disc in my back, the whole team were lovely and caring to the point that a male lifeguard took the time to check in that I was ok. Really lovely place with a great vibe. Thank you!
