About The T Barn

When you arrive in the Cotswolds, it's easy to get swept away in the honey-coloured villages, countryside landscapes and wandering wildlife. So set your anchor at The T Barn, a scenic farm valley site 10 minutes' drive from Bibury and Cirencester, nicely positioned for a cosy retreat in England's largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This small, off-grid spot keeps things wonderfully simple: spacious grass pitches, fire pits, warm showers with good pressure, and well-kept compost loos. You can even hire a pizza oven to elevate your camp cookout. The place feels peaceful and remote, yet the handsome village of Barnsley is just a 10-minute walk away – its village pub and hotel both bring a buzz with splendid food and distinguished garden design.

From here, you're well-based for cycle-easy lanes, nature reserve trails, or the Cotswold Water Park 20 minutes away for paddleboarding and watersports. Buses stop in the village four times daily, though a car does make exploring easier. Friendly staff keep everything running smoothly for a relaxing, tech-free escape.

We stayed at The T barn Campsite in our tailgate tent. The site is remote but also easy to access to the nearest town, Cirencester. Compost loo's which were clean and warm showers. Washing up area clean and scenic. It was quiet and you can hear the birds and wildlife. Walking up the hill to the see the sunset was pretty amazing too. The owner was really helpful, friendly and we did meet her. The best was after Sunday we had the campsite to ourselves. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for our stay.

Great spot. We had a weekend of cycling and this was an ideal location on a beautiful site. We really appreciated the rustic feel and sitting around a fire in the evenings. Good pub just up the road too 👍🏼

Excellent off grid campsite . Beautiful views . Great sunsets and the sound of chattering kites that swoop above is amazing . Had a perfect peaceful weekend and a fab evening in the village pub . A short walk away .

We had an incredible time for our joint 30th renting the whole campsite. The site was totally perfect! We couldn't have had a better setting. Hopefully we can come again in the future!
