What diners say
Products: Steak frites + Profiteroles Rating: 70/100 (Very Satisfactory) Verdict: A very good if not exceptional steak. Excellent sauce. ENVIRONMENT Neat, comfortable and with a cozy bistronomical feeling. Good hygiene in the toilets. 7/10 PRESENTATION The fries were placed rather haphazardly but the overall plating was acceptable if not showing great care. 6/10 LOGISTICS AND MENU Clear organization. Acceptable design of the menu however and English translation of the dessert items would be appreciated. 7/10 QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF THE FOOD The salad was fresh but the mustard sauce was too strong. (6.5) The entrecôte was tender albeit unevenly cooked (some slices were overdone). The sauce was excellent - buttery, silky and fragrant. Fries were also fresh but could be a bit thicker. (7.25) The profiteroles were excellent with a rich and intense chocolate sauce. (8) 29/40 SERVICE Rather weak. More attentiveness and enthusiasm needed. Rather sluggish. 11/20 VALUE 7/10 Bonus: +3 Minus: -0

I was there at the restaurant with 3 guests at around 6pm. We know the drill as we are regular customers. We waited in a long queue then went in when a table was available. The four of us were seated. We initially asked for 4 medium done, then when it was time to serve i asked her to chance mine to well done but she wasn't happy! I haven't eaten anything yet and i guess out of courtesy she should change my order to well done no big deal. But she said it will be a hassle and I need to wait 10 to 15 min to get my food and i said no worries. Then i noticed the fries came kind of white color ( not well fried). Then when my well done meat was served it was burnt from the outside and still medium from the inside. Very unprofessional and not decent to deal with your guest. Didn't like the meat nor the fries and not the service overall today.

Tbf I don’t know why this place was popular. Went there, it was super empty and yet they put us on a tightly-set dining tables that needs to be shifted when I’m going out. The servers were also quite meh. Not warm at all and just saying what they have rehearsed 1000x. The food I think the worst out of all the aspects, the walnut salad was nothing special, the steak was also nothing special (expected more foe 33 quid). The fries was hard, seems like being fried for multiple times. The only thing good out of the whole meal is the baguette Overall, not a big fan. Feels like a tourist trap. The venue was pretty though

Classic French Bistro offering steak and chips at good value. Homemade sauce is a nice touch as well as the unlimited fries. Buzzy atmosphere that can be busy and frantic. Best for social meals, not a romantic dinner date location. Favoured amongst weekday city workers.

Diners like this restaurant's perfectly cooked steak, delicious signature green sauce, and generous servings of crispy fries. They also highlight the efficient service and the lively, authentic Parisian bistro atmosphere.
Some reviews mention the service can be rushed.
