The Annex

Rolling fields and big skies surround The Annex, a two-bedroom cottage set in the quiet countryside around Alloa. The Clackmannanshire landscape here is working farmland and open horizons—the kind of setting where you can step outside and actually hear silence. Stirling, the Trossachs and a network of walking routes are all within easy reach, making this a practical base whether you want to explore the region or simply stay put.

Inside, the property is laid out across two floors. Downstairs holds a living room with Freeview Smart TV, a kitchen/dining room equipped for actual cooking (electric oven, induction hob, microwave, washing machine), and a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with a double—and a bathroom with shower. The essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. Two cars can park on site.

The Annex sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking inside. It suits couples after a quiet break, small families wanting countryside without fuss, or anyone needing a straightforward rural base in central Scotland.
