Drumpellier Country Park is perfect for a day of walking, history, and wildlife. The park is part of the Seven Lochs Wetland Park, featuring Lochend Loch and Woodend Loch, woodland trails, open fields, and an adventure playground. Trails are well-maintained. Visitors can hike, cycle, fish, picnic, or simply enjoy the sunsets over the lochs. Wildlife is abundant, including ducks, swans, otters, and other wetland species. Facilities include a visitor centre, parking, benches, and clear signposts. Access is easy by car, bus, train (Blairhill station), or bike via the Seven Lochs Trail. Respecting wildlife, picking up litter, and following paths are important to keep this space safe and enjoyable. Despite occasional litter issues, the park is well cared for and offers a scenic escape with layers of natural and industrial history, ideal for families, walkers, and nature enthusiasts.

Fantastic place for a family outing! Spent a couple of hours here today with my 5-year-old boy and family, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Really peaceful, well-maintained, and great fun for young kids. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Great space for everyone including dogs and kids. Water, wildlife, spacious, and had a very large woodland area. Areas with picnic tables, and an ice cream van some days. Enjoyed going here.
