Love it here. It's so quiet, next to the canal. You could be anywhere in the UK. So convenient to get to Garstang shops too. The pub is lovely & handy, but doesn't belong to the site. The shower block is wonderful. Rows of full bathrooms with great showers. Always lots of hot water & Immaculately clean. Good laundry room, family bathroom, Washing up area, games rooms. Dog washing area. Chemical toilet disposal site. Disabled shower room. Fabulous place for nice walks. Close to Barton Grange Garden Centre, Preston, Lancaster. Would highly recommend staying here.

Nice little campsite with spacious pitches and plenty of greenery. Large modern and very clean shower/toilet block along with laundry and pot washing rooms and even a dog shower. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch but there is a large motorhome service bay if needed. Electricity is metered. Easy walk along canal into Garstang itself. Only downsides really are it can be a little noisy with it being on a working boatyard marina and there is also a large housing development ongoing on the other side of the road. Quiet at night however. Small but useful fenced dog walking area. There are rabbits on site so be aware if you have a dog. Our dog snapped her tether as she took off at full speed when she saw one. All in all would recommend for a short stay.

What a site! I was recommended by my parents as they couldn't believe how nice the facilities were and they did not disappoint. Best facilities I've seen so far during my camping era! Peaceful site, nice spacious pitches. Cafe on site serving coffees and food but also alcohol. You have to pay for your own electric but was minimal for me. Stayed on the way back from the lake district just for one night but would return. Only slight criticisms (and I'm being picky) - wish the taps/shower would stay on longer, and you do get a lot of fobs for toilets, electric and entrance into site!

Stopped off here for a couple of nights on the way back home. WOW, what a site. The best toilet,(with under floor heating) dish wash and elsan point we have experienced. Short walk into town and plenty of local walks. The site has metered electric which was at a very reasonable rate. Worked out at under £2 a day and that was cooking and Electric Heating. With cafe/ bar on site. We will be back !!!
