About Cragg Farm Camping Pods
Catch you at Cragg Farm Camping Pods – at the edge of the Lake District – for a Cumbria break with cracking views out over the northern fells. Around five minutes' drive from Cockermouth, this tiny park offers well-appointed accommodation built from Siberian larch to lock in warmth. Each pod comes with a fully fitted kitchen (induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave), a generous shower room, fitted beds and a corner sofa that converts into a double. Full insulation, double glazing and underfloor heating ensure year-round cosiness, while LED lighting and a TV add modern comforts. Outside, a spacious deck gives you room to fire up the barbecue and soak in those fell views.
Walkers will find trails for all abilities radiating from the doorstep, and the Lake District's outdoor playground – climbing, cycling, watersports – is moments away. Cockermouth's specialist shops (butcher, bakery, fishmonger) make self-catering a pleasure, and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants when you fancy a night off cooking.

We had an amazing stay at Craig’s Farming Pod, where we celebrated New Year, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Catherine was such a welcoming, cheerful, and genuinely lovely host. The pod itself was extremely cozy, beautifully done, and had everything we needed. We spent two nights there and had the best time. Honestly, we couldn’t stop wishing we could stay longer and already can’t wait to go back again. Thank you, Catherine, for hosting us so beautifully. We’ll definitely be back soon and would highly recommend this stay to anyone travelling to the Cumbria Lake District.

We had the most wonderful NewYear escape at Cragg Farm. Even with the winter chill outside the accommodation was incredibly cozy and warm throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the place and thoroughly enjoyed the mornings, which were so calm and peaceful exactly what we needed to start the year. If you’re looking for a quiet, high-quality retreat in the Lake District, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

What a lovely peaceful stay at Cragg farm pods.The scenery was beautiful. The pods are equipped with everything that you need, and immaculate. Catherine was very welcoming and friendly. Very relaxing stay. Will definitely recomend. Will be booking again.
