About Wellington Farm Glamping Breaks
Tucked on the edge of Cockermouth with sweeping views across the Western Fells, Wellington Farm Glamping Breaks offers a handful of supremely cosy, wood-clad pods that tick every comfort box. Each sleeps up to four and comes fully insulated and heated, with ensuite bathrooms stocked with eco-friendly toiletries, fluffy towels and robes, plus a well-equipped kitchenette and smart TV for downtime. The real treat, though, is the private patio: fire up the barbecue or sink into your own hydrotherapy hot tub while the fells roll out before you.
The farm's own Jersey ice cream and home-baked cakes are served in the on-site café, which also dishes up breakfast hampers and Sunday roasts that guests rave about. An equestrian centre arranges guided treks through the surrounding countryside, and there's even an air rifle range. Friendly, helpful hosts and reasonable prices seal the deal—just note that pets aren't welcome, so Fido will have to sit this one out.

We had the most amazing stay at Wellington Farm and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful, welcoming and beautifully maintained. The setting is absolutely stunning – such a perfect escape from busy day-to-day life. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and finished to such a high standard. You can really tell how much care and thought has gone into every detail. It felt luxurious but still homely at the same time. Waking up to the countryside views and enjoying the quiet surroundings was exactly what we needed. It’s the perfect place to relax, reset and properly switch off. Our fur baby Teddy absolutely loved it too 🐾 The staff were so lovely, helpful and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wellington Farm to anyone looking for a special countryside getaway. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! 🤍

Our stay with our 6 month old menace of a puppy was simply fantastic. Leigh, Ashton and the rest of the family are very welcoming and helpful, we saw Leigh a few times and he advised us of the best dog walks in the area and gave a detailed rundown on the hot tub. The pod was cozy and though the smoke alarm was a little bit overly sensitive we felt like everything we needed was there and we had full agency over the place during our stay. The optional extras is a lovely touch too, we had a bottle of prosecco on ice and fry up ingredients for two days on arrival, which were both delicious and very fair in price. We'll definitely be visiting again!
