We are a family of 4 adults staying in a caravan on the Lyons Winkups site. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. All amenities are easy enough to find. Cleanliness of the caravan not great. There was rubbish left in the bin in the cupboard, dirty sides and cupboard doors, sugar inside one of the cupboards. Dirty stove, bread crumbs left in the tray of the toaster and dirty binbag in the grey bin. Bedroom with ensuite was very dusty and there were hairs left behind, on the bed on the side tables and also the dressing table. The ensuite toilet was disgusting, sink and toilet dirty (urine splashes on the seat and lid) plus something sticky on the seat that wouldn't wipe off with toilet roll as the tissue got stuck to it. Toothpaste marks on the floor and radiator and grime around the sink, safe to say I think that bathroom got missed. We are here until Friday so I'll have to buy cleaning spray and a cloth so I can give everything a wipe over to ensure it's all sanitary and safe to use. It feels like it was a rush job in this van. I certainly would not have checked this off if I was the supervisor doing van checks. Shame, our last holiday here was amazing and van was spotless.

We bought our static caravan in July 2025 and the service from start to finish has been absolutely fantastic. Even now, we’re still enjoying our holiday home and all the facilities, and the experience has continued to be nothing short of first class. A massive thank you to Ethan, who has been brilliant throughout. He has shown nothing but loyalty, professionalism, and dedication. No matter what questions we’ve had or help we’ve needed, Ethan has always gone above and beyond to make sure everything is sorted. It’s clear he genuinely cares about making the experience the best it can be. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and would highly recommend Ethan to anyone thinking about buying a holiday home at Winkups or any of their sister sites. The service and support have been outstanding! Campsite is clean and has activity’s for all ages also.

Caravan was absolutely foul smelt horrible very dirty left it cleaner than when we got there we found medication under chairs blood stains on sofa beds and pillows dog treats and pet hair in a no pet caravan site is very run down rubbish everywhere nappies sanitary towel glass everywhere definitely not worth the money won't be going back club is very expensive for drinks glasses not clean all round dirty site and you don't get access to WiFi or pool unless u pay 25 a week each extra ridiculase

We came into the office to enquire as regards purchasing a caravan. We asked Ethan what we wanted as regards location of caravan. What we aimed to spend and what we hoped to have with our budget. He was very helpful and was able to cater for our needs. Everything we asked for he was able to help us with. Very professional, helpful and also always approachable either in person or over the phone. I would strongly recommend coming to see the sales team at Lyon’s winkups for a holiday home as the benefits are very impressive…
