Mountain Meadow Cabins - Cwt Celyn (Holly Hut)

Mountain Meadow Cabins' Holly Hut is a single-storey cabin designed for two people in the foothills near Snowdonia. The open-plan interior combines living, dining and kitchen space on one level, with a bedroom containing a king-size bed and an ensuite shower. Everything needed for cooking is provided—microwave, utensils, basics—so self-catering is straightforward. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; you just arrive after 3pm and settle in.

Outside, a private wildflower garden contains a hot tub, seating area, garden furniture and barbecue. There is parking for one car on site. The cabin is a non-smoking property. From here, Llangernyw village is a few miles away, known locally for a pub serving Sunday roasts and wood-fired pizzas, while Betws y Coed offers more varied dining and sits at the edge of Gwydir Forest. The location opens onto serious walking country—Snowdonia's routes and the Carneddau Mountains are within reach—plus mountain biking, fishing, and forest attractions. The North Wales coast, including beaches across the Llŷn Peninsula, Anglesey and Conwy, is under an hour's drive away.
