The Bothy at Gelli Newydd

The Bothy at Gelli Newydd is a stone-built retreat for two on a hillside above Trefriw, between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed. Ground-floor accommodation means a bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower, an open-plan living and dining space with wood burner, and a kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and full equipment for cooking. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, along with logs for the burner and access to the private hot tub outside.

The enclosed garden has a patio and lawned area; parking is available for two cars. The hot tub is yours alone to use. No smoking indoors. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The grounds and bike store are shared with two other properties on the site.

This part of Snowdonia puts you within reach of forest walks, mountain bike trails, rivers and lakes. Zip World, Surf Snowdonia and various activity centres are nearby if you want something more structured. Footpaths run straight from the property itself for less planned exploration.
