Rolling moorland and working farmland characterise the countryside around Corwen, where Tyddyn Eli sits on the edge of a farm in the quieter reaches between Betws-y-Coed and Bala. The restored farmhouse sleeps eight across four bedrooms—a kingsize with ensuite on the ground floor, a double, and two rooms of singles—with two bathrooms and a second living room for when the group wants to split. Oil heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided, along with logs for the woodburner.
The main ground floor holds a kitchen big enough to cook for a crowd, a dining and living space with a woodburner, plus a utility room with washing machine and dryer. Out the back, an enclosed courtyard has garden furniture, a barbecue, and a hot tub that fits eight. Parking for four cars is on site, and one dog can stay free (though this is sheep country, so leads are essential). Walks start from the door; the award-winning farm shop at Rhug is a few miles away, while Bala Lake and the attractions around Betws-y-Coed lie within reasonable reach. No smoking inside.
