Set on the very tip of the National Trust-managed Llŷn Peninsula and overlooking Bardsey Island, Ty-newydd Farm offers heaps of space for families to roam. Open fields invite kite-flying and impromptu cricket matches, while parents can sink into a good book knowing the kids are safely exploring. The family running this sheltered, long-established site continues landscaping it in an environmentally sympathetic manner, keeping faith with the scenic surrounds.
Facilities include a well-stocked café serving breakfast, snacks and hot meals throughout the day, plus a tidy shower block with four units, baby-changing and disabled access. Two washing-up sinks with free hot water sit outside; you'll find water taps, waste disposal and a chemical point midway down the site. Campfires and barbecues are both permitted, and dogs are welcome year-round. Aberdaron village, about a mile and a half away, covers any other supplies. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places, but the sweeping coastal location and relaxed atmosphere more than compensate.

This is by far the best place ever. Beautiful views and wonderful village. It is very peaceful and the neighbours over the years became like family. My heart breaks that we no longer own a caravan. Very peaceful and quiet site with all the facilities albeit small and basic but VERY clean. No TV reception unless you plug in to the satellite system. Good strong WiFi at a reasonable cost, suitable for streaming but we just used our 4g signal that although not very strong was perfectly adequate. We'll definitely return and stay longer.

Lovely, tiny, peaceful site in a small hamlet with easy access from the A5, but no road noise! We had a restful couple of days with just the sheep for neighbours and birdsong to wake us.

Rustic but very clean facilities. Only 1 shower but not a problem as there are only 5 pitches. You need a pound coin for the shower but you get 20 minutes of hot water. Lovely site opposite cattle and sheep fields. Would go back again. 4 stars because of having to pay for the shower.
