Churchtown Cottage

Churchtown Cottage is a three-bedroom property in a village dominated by a 14th-century church, four and a half miles from Newquay. The cottage has been renovated while keeping original features—exposed stone walls, slate flooring, and a wood-burning fireplace. Be aware that some rooms have low ceilings, particularly when entering and on the stairs. The ground floor contains a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, and a utility room. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, one with a double, and one with a single plus a pull-out single, served by a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle.

An enclosed garden includes a courtyard with seating and a covered area for quieter moments. There is outdoor heated water to rinse off after beach visits. On-site parking accommodates one car. The cottage suits families or groups of up to six; children's equipment such as a travel cot, highchair and stairgate is available. One pet stays free. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating is by electric central system. The village has a fish and chip shop, bakery café, convenience store and post office. A well-regarded pub is a mile away. Crantock Beach, Holywell Bay and Polly Joke are nearby for swimming and walking; Fistral Beach in Newquay and Perranporth suit surfers. No smoking is permitted inside.
