Polperro's working harbour, narrow streets and seafaring history are minutes away on foot. The village holds fishermen's pubs, galleries and restaurants serving fresh local seafood. A short drive reaches Looe's sandy beach and fish market, while sheltered swimming spots at Talland and Lantic lie nearby. The Cornish Coastal Path is accessible for longer walks, and the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour's drive.
River Lodge is a ground-floor property with a kingsize bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The open-plan living and dining space has French doors onto a veranda; a separate kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. A courtyard terrace and patio overlook the river garden, with a barbecue for evening meals. One car parks on site; one dog stays free. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included.
The lodge is not suitable for children under 18 because of the river in the garden. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 15:00 and check-out before 10:00.
