Time to get stuck into the Cornish surf and St Ives' arts scene? This nine-acre pop-up site at Hayle Rugby Club makes a brilliant base for exploring this corner of Cornwall. Handily located just off the A30 on the edge of town, you're a short walk from shops and restaurants, with a bus stop 50 metres away for car-free outings to St Ives' galleries and beaches, Land's End or St Michael's Mount – all within 45 minutes' drive.
The three-mile golden beach popular for surfing and sandcastle construction lies about a mile away. Back at camp, it's simple tents-only pitches across grassy acres, with a friendly dog-welcoming clubhouse for drinks and the Cornish Oven bakery on site for tasty provisions. Barbecues are allowed as long as they're raised off the grass.
Facilities cover the basics: toilets, showers (separated by curtains, closed 6-9pm Tuesday and Thursday for rugby training), washing-up area and drinking water. Nothing fancy, but perfectly functional for a budget-friendly Cornish adventure.

I go here for dancing or to attend Special Events like Birthday Parties or to watch a Band play. Lovely clean spacious Hall for dancing, lots of seating with Tables, and a lovely bright and cheery Bar with friendly Staff. Decent amount of well kept, clean Toilets..

We attended a wedding reception this week which was absolutely fantastic the room was perfect for the occasion and we had food and drinks and it was so relaxing, in the evening there was a disco and dancing i would rate this venue a lot higher than 5 star and the staff our lovely and friendly, a perfect place for all the family.
