We had a wonderful stay in May to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is beautiful and provides the perfect setting for a relaxing break. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a few days away. It’s ideal for couples seeking a peaceful getaway, but it would also work very well for young families. There are plenty of great attractions nearby (by Cornwall standards, they’re all within easy reach!), and the beach is only a short distance away for those who enjoy spending time by the sea. If I had one small criticism, it would be that during our stay, which coincided with an unusually hot week at the end of May, the accommodation could have benefited from a little more ventilation (particularly bug proof!) and perhaps a fan or two, as it became quite warm inside. That said, we had a fantastic time, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would happily return in the future. We would certainly recommend it to others.

Stayed Easter 2026. Stayed in Proper Job...Absolutely gorgeous cabin, amazing location with a breathtaking view. The site was immaculate when we arrived, well cared for and easy access for car but still felt private and secluded. The cabin was incredibly well equipped, probably the best glamping we have done, and the bundle of starter bits was well received, thank you. Loads of electrical and USB sockets, also loved the huge window! Even with a Storm Dave blowing the cabin was so snug and warm, did not need the heating at all. Shower was gorgeous and hot, never had any problems even with five of us (all kids older teenagers as well, and remarked how comfy beds were as well). Hosts Emma and Rich were lovely and welcoming, we definitely want to return. Access to local towns for sightseeing and day trips was excellent. We would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our 3 night break staying with Lydcott Glamping (above and beyond glamping in my opinion) staying in “The Pilchard”. It’s a beautiful setting and the lay out is really well done. My wife, 3 year old and dog and I all enjoyed it in equal measure. Especially our son with all the room to roam safely and he was particularly infatuated with the chickens! The cabin itself was very homely and presented very well. We also had the breakfast hamper which we enjoyed very much, Emma’s home made bread especially. All locally sourced items too which was nice! We will be returning at some point I’m sure!

We stayed for 3 nights at in The Patsy cabin with our 2 children, it was well equipped and had everything that we needed. We all had such a fab trip, the walks and beaches were lovely and it was a bonus to come back to a beautiful cabin with a proper warm shower and toilet! Our children loved being able to play outside and it was secure and safe. They were allowed to hold the chickens and collect eggs which they really enjoyed. We cannot wait to go back and stay again and would recommend to everyone. p.s. you need to order Emma's bread & scones, they are delicious!
