About Penvose Farm Holidays
This working farm near Newquay Airport offers four coarse fishing lakes where campers pay half the non-guest rate to cast for carp and perch – a genuine draw for anglers. Dogs are welcome (small fee applies) and there's plenty for families too: a wooden climbing frame, swings and slides occupy younger campers, while the large grassy meadow invites bike rides and ball games.
Location is the real ace. Mawgan Porth's sheltered sandy bay sits five minutes' drive away; Porth Beach and Newquay itself are fifteen minutes, both fronted by the South West Coast Path for clifftop walks yielding serious sea views. Newquay's surf breaks need no introduction. A small on-site farm shop covers barbecue basics, though proper supermarkets and Newquay's restaurants are ten minutes up the road; Padstow lies twenty-five minutes west.
Facilities include hot showers, launderette, communal freezer and accessible washrooms. Some campers note the site can feel a touch tired in places, but the fishing access and coastal proximity win most over. Pitches range from non-electric grass to family-sized electric plots.

I found this fantastic campsite by accident last year . I was booked in for 1 night but ended up staying for nearly 3 weeks. The fishing is fantastic , the balif Chris is so helpful and really knows his stuff. There is a little shop on site which sells the best pastys in Cornwall. The staff are very polite and helpful. The showers are spotless. Now for my problem, as a newly retired person I was intending to spend most of the summer at the site, but when I went to book up I found that the prices had risen sharply. I now have to find a cheaper site .I will still be visiting for the fishing and catching up with Chris but it's such a shame.

We stayed for 3 nights on a pitch with electric hook up. Site is located near the airport so it’s something to consider as it can get quite noisy at times. We didn’t mind it so much. Toilets and shower blocks very clean, but somewhat dated, water pressure in the showers was awful so purely for that reason we wouldn’t stay again. Water was spraying everywhere but not where you needed. Lady who checked us in was really lovely and helpful :) we didn’t use the shop on site so can’t comment on that.

Good services on this campsite and a great little farm shop. The pitch we were given was EHU but was in a field where the grass hadn't been cut and there were lots of cow pats as well as being on a slope so pitching was quite difficult. It is also located at the end of a runway but we quite enjoyed watching the planes land and take off.

This place is excellent. We really enjoyed our camping stay at Penvose Farm. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in. This is an amazing family run farm/campsite. There are amazing facilities and even more amazing owners. They really looked after us and were so welcoming and made our stay the best we’ve ever had in Cornwall. We would highly recommend and be visiting again. The location is great too.
