Apartment 20 Waves

Apartment 20 Waves sits on the third floor of a holiday complex at the Wavehunters Watergate School, a five-minute walk from Watergate Bay beach. You arrive into an open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed (doubling as extra sleeping space), a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and other basics for self-catering, and access to a small balcony overlooking the gardens. The bedroom has a zip-and-link bed configured as a kingsize or two singles, and there's a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included; one car can park on site.

Watergate Bay itself is known for its beach and as a host venue for major surf competitions. Wavehunters runs lessons in surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and kite surfing for all levels. Beyond the water, the coastal path runs across the road for cliff-top walks, and the area has twelve beaches within reach of Newquay, from sandy expanses to rock pools. A bus stop outside connects to Newquay town, Mawgan Porth and Padstao for exploring further. One dog is welcome. No smoking in the apartment.
