My thanks to Katy for a lovely stay at Trelay Campsite. All of the amenities were just a short walk from our pitch, which was a bonus compared with other campsites we have visited this summer. Trelay has a relaxed atmosphere, and is great spot for a family holiday. It's an easy drive to Bude, so the geography worked well. I would definitely recommend Trelay to anyone seeking a relaxed location and a wonderful host. Best wishes, Anthony R Merryew (Author)

Tranquility Arrived with out a booking, the hosts were very accommodating and welcoming! They explained they are part of the greener camping club and explained their ethos , we signed straight up. It’s just the kind of camping facility we have been searching for in years. So much so we managed to find another site part of the greener club for our next stop over on the way home Everything you needed for a comfortable stay Peace and quiet, lovely surroundings, not to many pitches. Toilets and showers, a shared washing up area, fridge freezer , a burner and logs ( to purchase) 😊🏕️ happy camping

A wonderful, wholesome place to stay From the minute we arrived, it was clear that we would be coming back for another break in the future. The site was beautifully presented and partially wild, to give that off-grid look and feel. The use of a firepit was greatly appreciated. The facilities were well presented, and the shower was particularly powerful. the setting is lovely and there are plenty of places to walk and explore close to the campsite. With excellent road links to the local beaches, the location is very well placed. All in all, a great stay. I would thoroughly recommend the Trelay Campsite to all who don't want all the trappings of the more commercialised sites.

Just got back from a week at Trelay Campsite and I've got to say, what a fantastic place this is. We've been camping for years now and this has to be one of the best sites we've ever stayed at. First thing that struck us was how genuinely friendly everyone was. From the moment we pulled up, other campers were coming over to say hello and offer help with setting up. You don't get that everywhere these days. There's a proper sense of community here that reminds you what camping used to be like when we were kids. Families looking out for each other, kids playing together safely, and everyone just having a good chat around the evening fires. The hosts are absolute gems. They're not just running a business here, they genuinely care about making sure everyone has a great time. Always popping round to check if you need anything, full of local knowledge about where to go and what to see. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in every detail of how the site is run. And then there are the beaches. Five minutes drive and you're on some of the most stunning coastline you'll ever see. We spent every afternoon down there and never got bored. Perfect for a swim when the weather's good or just a peaceful walk when you want to clear your head. The facilities are spot on too. Clean toilets and showers, good water pressure, and everything well maintained. It's the little things that count and they've got it all sorted here. We're already planning our next visit for next summer. If you're looking for somewhere that combines proper countryside charm with fantastic beaches and the warmest welcome you'll get anywhere, book yourself into Trelay. You won't regret it. Highly recommended.
